Privacy policy

This page explains which personal data we collect on bitwire.sh, why, and how you can exercise your rights.

Last updated: 21 October 2026

Data we collect through the contact form

When you send us a message through the contact form, we collect the information you enter: your name, your email address, your company (optional), your WhatsApp number (optional), the service you are interested in, how customers reach you today (optional) and your message.

We do not ask for any other personal data, and the site does not require an account.

To protect the form against spam, your IP address is briefly counted in the server memory to limit the number of submissions. It is not written to a database and is lost when the server restarts.

Why we use your data

We use this data only to read and answer your request, and to follow up on the discussion you start with us. We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising and we do not send newsletters unless you ask for them.

Legal basis

We process your data because you contact us and ask us to answer, which is your consent given by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to hello@bitwire.sh.

Email delivery by Resend

Contact form messages are delivered to our mailbox by Resend, an email delivery service that acts as our processor. Resend receives the content of your message and your email address only to send it to us.

Resend may process data outside Morocco, according to its own terms and safeguards.

Booking a call (Calendly)

When you book a call, the calendar is provided by Calendly and shown in a window on our site. Calendly receives the details you enter there, such as your name, email address and chosen time, and sets its own cookies, under its own terms and privacy policy.

Nothing is sent to Calendly unless you open the booking window.

Analytics without cookies (Umami)

We measure the audience of the site with Umami, a self-hosted and cookieless analytics tool. It sets no cookie, does not store anything on your device and does not follow you from one site to another, so no cookie banner is needed.

The statistics we get are aggregated, such as pages viewed, referrer, country, browser and device type.

Hosting

The website and the analytics tool run on our own server (VPS), managed by Bitwire. Details about the host appear in the legal notice.

How long we keep your data

Your messages are kept in our mailbox only for as long as needed to handle your request and any business relationship that follows. If no relationship follows, we delete them within a reasonable period. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify you.

Your rights and how to exercise them

You have the right to access your personal data, to have it rectified or deleted, and to object to its processing.

To exercise these rights, email hello@bitwire.sh. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on your request, and we will answer within a reasonable time.

Moroccan law 09-08 and the CNDP

Bitwire is based in Morocco. Personal data is processed in line with Moroccan law 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data. The supervisory authority is the Commission Nationale de contrôle de la protection des Données à caractère Personnel (CNDP). If you believe your rights are not respected, you may contact us first, and you may also file a complaint with the CNDP.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
